Great mattress but struggle with the pillow height, gives me a sore neck.

I honestly can't fault my experience with this mattress, and I had my doubts when I bought it. I very nearly spent significantly more on a different brand but trusted the reviews of a friend and have not looked back since. I've put a woolen mattress topper on my bed, which I think makes all the difference on any bed, but even without it I slept well on the Sleeping Duck, and have noticed I've been waking up every morning feeling fresh where I used to expect to be sore. My partner really likes the bed too, and I'd say it's a great mattress for couples that enjoy their bed for more than sleep. I've also been using the Sleeping Duck summer duvet. Love it. I'll likely order a set of the pillows soon too, and would love to try the 'extra firm' mattress option, but really am not sure I need it. Thanks to the Sleeping Duck team!

How good could a mattress be that is $2,000 vs. $10,000 mattress? How will they service you if you need help? These were some of the questions I asked myself when considering a SD mattress. Good news is I didn’t need to worry. Purchasing experience was great! After sales service and the need to change firmness was flawless and simple. Finally, if the service was not what I expected I could always return the mattress within 100 days without risk. I had nothing to worry about. I like my SD a lot!

Best decision I have made

So.. I loved my old soft mattress, but my husband couldn’t sleep on it as he likes a firm and I prefer soft, also wanted to upgrade size from a Q to a K. Sleeping duck were recommended to us by 2 family members that raced over theirs. We started with a medium, but it was too soft for my husband and I found it uncomfortable as I’m used to a soft so we did a firmness swap. My husband loved his firm, but I was having just as much aches and pains in the soft. Sleeping duck recommended I try a firm, but I was pretty closed minded about it as I was used to a soft, so they were accommodating and sent me out a segmented layout. The segmented layout was amazing for when I tummy sleep (most of the time), but was horrid when I did spent time on my side or back during the night (I tend to toss and turn a bit!).. so one last go, they recommended the firm again and I gave it a go.. and who would have thought it.. I LOVE IT! I’ve always had softer mattresses due to pelvic and hip pain, tummy sleeping, pregnancies etc. and never liked firm.. but the sleeping duck firm still has a nice softness to it and I’m now sleeping like a baby, never slept so well in my life. Sorry sleeping duck, I was such a pain and should have listened to your first recommendation, but than you so much for being so patient and accommodating to me every time I contacted you. Customer service second to none, SD are a company that truly pride themselves on customer service. Well done and thanks again! I love my sleeping duck!
