Products covered by this warranty
Our 10 Year limited mattress warranty extends to all mattresses manufactured by Sleeping Duck that are purchased via sleepingduck.com directly, and does not extend to second hand purchases via unauthorised retailers or persons.
Persons covered by this warranty
Our 10 year limited mattress warranty extends to the original purchaser only where the purchaser is the end user of the product, and expires once the original purchaser ceases to own the product. This warranty cannot be transferred to another person and is not available to any person who acquires the product for the purpose of re-supply or for use other than the product's ordinarily intended use.
Scope of warranty
Sleeping Duck guarantees our mattress in its original packaging sold directly to you against defects in materials, craftsmanship and performance as set out in this warranty for the period of 10 years, from the date of delivery to you the purchaser. This is provided the mattress is used for its intended purpose, and cared for correctly as set out below:
- Our mattress is designed to be used on a firm flat or slatted surface with grounded support. Use on a sprung base, adjustable base or any other base that does not adequately support the mattress will void the 10 year limited mattress warranty.
- The mattress should be strongly supported in both the width and length directions. Adequate support means the mattress should not sag, bow or bend under the weight of the individuals sleeping on it and the weight of the mattress itself.
- The maximum weight limit of each individual sleeper is 140kg, anything above this weight will void the 10 year limited mattress warranty.
- Ensure there is grounded support for the mattress throughout the middle of the mattress and not just the edges so that the mattress is adequately supported. An inadequately supported mattress cannot perform and will void the 10 year limited mattress warranty. Examples of requirements are in the attached images below:
- If using a firm flat surface, the thickness of the surface should be a minimum of 1.5cm, so that it doesn’t bow or bend under the weight of the mattress and those sleeping on it.
- Using a slatted base where the distance between the slats are greater than 12cm will void the 10 year limited mattress warranty. Gaps wider than 12cm will leave a significant number of springs unsupported and will affect both the feel and longevity of the mattress. A distance of 12cm between the slats will provide adequate support, however 8cm or less is recommended for optimal performance.

What is covered by this limited warranty?
This limited mattress warranty applies to the following performance and manufacturing defects:
- Body indentations or sagging greater than 30mm. A mattress has a break in period where it will conform to your body's natural contours and weight. Up to and including 30mm is perfectly normal and is not covered under this limited mattress warranty.
- Physical damages resulting in the mattress being unable to perform as designed, caused during the manufacturing, assembly, or shipping process including; stitching unravelling, zipper damage, and disintegrating foams.
This limited mattress warranty does not cover the following:
- Changes in firmness preferences. If your firmness needs or preferences change over time it is not covered by this limited mattress warranty. Should you need to adjust your firmness, new Precision Pads can be purchased in your desired firmness.
- Damage caused due to the use of an inadequate base.
- Natural odour of the foam materials used in our mattress.
- Damage due to improper use or moving the mattress.
- Body indentations less than 30mm.
- General wear and tear.
- Damage or accidents caused by third party services used at your discretion, including but not limited to: removalist or courier services, and cleaning services.
Making a claim

Assessment of all warranty claims take place via email, and require photo, video and/or audio files to be provided to Sleeping Duck. Sleeping Duck does not make house calls and does not require the mattress or any components to be returned during the warranty claim process.
In the event of a successful warranty claim, Sleeping Duck will replace the affected component to bring the performance of the mattress back to the expected state for its lifetime. We do NOT replace the entire mattress or bring it back to a new state of performance.
All replacement components will be shipped via our courier service and are required to be swapped for the affected component by you, Sleeping Duck does not provide house calls.
At the completion of a warranty claim, the 10 Year limited warranty does NOT renew, even in the case of a full replacement.

This limited BreatheTech™ Cover warranty applied to defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship, subject to limitations outlined in this warranty.
This limited BreatheTech Cover warranty does not cover the following:
- Comfort preferences.
- General wear and tear.
- Damage caused by improper use or abuse.
- Damage or accidents caused by third party services used at the customer’s discretion, including but not limited to: removalist or courier services, and cleaning services.

Sleeping Duck guarantees our Steel Core Support System in its original packaging sold directly to you against defects in materials, craftsmanship and performance for the period of the warranty, from the date of delivery to you, the purchaser. This is provided the Steel Core Support System is used for its intended purpose and cared for correctly.
What is covered by this limited warranty?
This limited SD Indestruct Bed™ Steel Core Support System warranty applies to the following performance and manufacturing defect caused by faulty materials or workmanship, subject to limitations outlined in this warranty.
- Permanent bowing of the Air Support Panels when assembled, greater than 10mm. Up to and including 10mm is normal and is not covered under this limited warranty.
- Physical damages resulting in the bed frame being unable to be assembled as designed, caused during the manufacturing, assembly, or shipping process.
- Manufacturing defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship
This limited Steel Core Support System warranty does not cover the following:
- General wear and tear
- Changes in comfort preferences.
- Damage caused by incorrect assembly or disassembly.
- Damage caused by improper use or abuse, including but not limited to dragging or moving the frame in an unsafe or unsupported manner, and the using of chemical cleaning products on the surface of the frame.
- Damage or accidents caused by third party services used at your discretion, including but not limited to: removalist or courier services, and cleaning services.

This limited SD Indestruct Bed™ Artisan Skins warranty applies to defects caused by faulty materials or workmanship, subject to limitations outlined in this warranty.
This limited Artisan Skins warranty does not cover the following:
- Damage due to improper use or abuse.
- Damage from incorrect assembly.
- General wear and tear, including but not limited to stains, marks, or scuffs.
- Colour variations within fabric finishes.
- Natural variations within wood colours, textures and patterns. Wood is a natural material and we are not able to guarantee that the finishes will perfectly match images on the website or be consistent within each component of the product.
- Damage or accidents caused by third party services used at the customer’s discretion, including but not limited to: removalist or courier services, and cleaning services.
