Because we are elderly, we need a firm EDGE to help lever up into the standing position. This mattress has a very soft edge, presumably because it has to be packaged in a rolled up form...so very hard for us to get into, and out of the bed. The firm pads improved the sleeping position, but did not help the edge issue. That said, the service and )net rest in our problem was excellent....we could have returned it but instead, gave it to our daughter who was moving into a new house. We have since purchased a conventional mattress with a very stiff edge and firm top...not as innovative but better for us. Thanks for asking.

After years of putting up with aches and pains in the morning from our old bed, I don't experience this anymore. It's so much easier to fall asleep now

Replaced water bed after 37 years been great so far since going from firm half and half to medium both sides

I have never experienced such brilliant customer service before. From the moment I purchased our mattress the service has been exceptional. Originally purchased medium firmness but had a few firmness swaps and now I am sleeping on a soft mattress. It is like sleeping on a cloud! No more tossing and turning through the night. I haven't slept this well in years. I no longer experience pain through the night and can't wait to go to bed each night to sink into my luxurious bed. Getting up each morning is very hard though....I don't want to get out of my comfy bed!! Would like to congratulate your dedicated staff who helped me with my firmness swaps, nothing was a problem for them and they even answered my emails on the weekend....absolutely love my bed and would not hesitate recommending Sleeping Duck to family and friends. Best purchase experience ever!!
