As a gentleman in his 70's I had managed to create my back problems many years ago. The general consensus is to use a firm mattress and we have had a couple of Posturepedic mattress. I have also had one back operation a few year ago. Sleeping was becoming worse.. We decided it was time to get a new mattress and I had heard about the Sleeping Duck design. We ordered one - with the recommended (default) medium / medium support. Sleeping Duck asked how that was - and after discussion offered to send us different firmness inserts - remember their 100 day guarantee - but they were not obliged to contact us. We decided to go with a firm insert for me - and a soft insert for my wife. Now we have two happy sleepers. I am better with the firm. My wife is happier with the soft.

First week was game changer. Waking up in the old bed was actually sore in the morning. But with new sleeping duck mattress I was not sore at all and it was noticeable straight away, very evident and slept well. Should have got this new mattress agesss ago.
