We love our SD

Since I was able to make the mattress much firmer it is so much better for me. However my husband prefers the original firmness so we were able to customise the mattress to suit us.

Never been a good sleeper and have had lower back and neck issues for many years and a coupe of back surgeries. Before getting the SD, we had the entry level King Tempur which was around $4,500 when purchased 11 years ago. Now we are about 6 weeks with the SD and after a comfort level change after 2 weeks, I cant remember the last time I slept better and don't have the lower back tightness that I had before with the previous mattress and the wife feels more rested and less ache in the morning even though she could probably sleep through a mortar attack. She never had any significant issues with pain but she definitely knows now that the previous mattress lost its support even though you could not see sag and it probably been that as for the last couple of years I Started with Firm and tried wife’s Medium and ended up with component pieces of medium and firm as I felt like I was sleeping on top of the bed rather than sinking in a little with the firm but just bot enough support with medium only. Wife tried soft and slept well but ended up going back to medium as it felt more supportive. We are both around 70kg so by no means heavy. At less than half the cost of the Tempur, even if this SD mattress doesn’t get to 10 years, I will still be very happy and consider it money well spent if it gets close. Would I recommend this mattress to others, its a resounding YES.

I never thought I would buy a mattress untested and unsighted, but the experience was a good one. The ordering process was straightforward. The delivery was prompt, even though we live interstate, and the follow-up was helpful and efficient. One mattress was changed and another sent, with no problems. We are happy with the outcome and confident of its durability. Knowing that inserts can be changed in the future is also reassuring.

Ordering the mattress one day and the next it was delivered. Kept up to date on arrival time of the mattress. Also received calls on the delivery service plus follow call on how the mattress is going. The service was exceptional.

We upgraded to a sleeping duck queen mattress from a pocket sprung around 2 years ago. The difference in how we slept was instant. The most comfortable mattress ever. Since moving house we've upgraded to a larger king bed and had absolutely no hesitation in opting for another sleeping duck mattress. I found it hard to believe but it's now even better; 2 years ago when unwrapping the queen there was a chemically smell to the mattress, which did go away after a few days as it aired. However, this time round with the king, no smell and still an amazingly comfortable mattress. I actually said to my husband the other day, it's too comfortable.. I don't want to get out of bed. But hey, not a bad problem to have.

Sleeping duck somehow embraces you and makes you want to stay in bed.
